One water tank insulated box was built and set up in the horse corral.  If it works and saves us electricity to heat the water during the winter months, the remaining 3 tanks will also be upgraded.

Dock Removal 11072015b

With the ice beginning to form on the pond, the dock and gangways were removed for the winter.  Some “pull outs” work better than others….as we found out!

Local law enforcement needs our help!

Dear All,

After our initial “flurry” of emails to County Officials about the urgent need for 2 additional investigators, we received a response from the county that those positions had been budgeted for 2016 and were to be approved at a meeting in December.

The BOCC discussed this issue at their meeting yesterday and although funding for these two positions is available…the decision is still up in the air!

They plan to discuss it again at the work session in two weeks.

It is very important that we continue with emails and phone calls to the County Leaders listed below.

The BOCC needs to hear more from folks in ALL areas of the county!

Let the BOCC know that we SUPPORT the approval of the two additional investigator positions.  It is a matter of public safety and safety for the investigating officers.

If you have not called or sent an email, please do it ASAP!

Thank you for your continued support.

Local law enforcement needs our help!

Currently, there is only one full-time investigator assigned to the drug enforcement effort!  This is an immediate public safety concern, and a concern for the safety of our Law Enforcement personnel!

The PCSD has requested that the Board of County Commissioners approve the hiring of two additional Investigators to aid in the overwhelming increase in marijuana-related crime in our county.

The additional two positions will:

Prevent patrol deputies from being reassigned to maintain our current level of safety on the highways and in the community.

Provide the safety of two officers partnering on current investigations.

Provide an additional investigator for follow up on the illegal operations discovered.

We are asking that all concerned citizens call AND send emails to each of our Board of County Commissioners and our County Administrator as soon as possible!

Urge them to APPROVE the hiring of TWO ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATORS for the PCSD.

Our goal is to create a STORM OF SUPPORT for our law enforcement personnel.

Your email and phone calls can be as simple as:

“My name is ___________ and I live at (your physical address – no PO Boxes please).  I urge you to APPROVE the hiring of two additional investigators for the Park County Sheriff’s Department to aid them in their efforts to stop illegal drug activities in Park County.  Help them insure the safety of our citizens!”

Please call AND email each of the following AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:

Board of County Commissioners (BOCC):

Mark Dowaliby  719.836.4211

Dick Hodges  719.836.4209

Mike Brazell  719.836.4210

County Administrator:

Tom Eisenman  719.836.3273

Let our local leaders know that we support law enforcement’s efforts to STOP ILLEGAL DRUG ACTIVITY in OUR COUNTY!

Call AND Email today!
