It has been less than a year since volunteers from our community spent 2 days cleaning up the trash left behind at the Harris Park Shooting Range and the area now again looks like a trash site!

On March 30th, Channel 7 News took pictures and reported that spent shell casings, empty ammo boxes and riddled targets litter the grounds of the range located in the Pike National Forest.  People living in the community, tired of the trash, noise and fire danger, feel there should be a conversation with the Forest Service about shutting it down.
