Fishing Permits for Park County Residents

ECHPOA offers a limited number of annual fishing permits to Park County residents.  Annual fishing permits expire December 31st of the same year purchased.  2019 Park County permits are $30 per fishing badge, first badge is free for Park County first responders.  Residents living within the Elk Creek Highlands and Meadows subdivisions may still obtain their ECHPOA membership and fishing permit with 4 badges for only $65.  Badges must be visibly displayed and will allow access to the pond area and fishing.

By purchasing an ECHPOA annual fishing permit you are helping us to keep our private pond in our community for fire safety, wildlife and habitat benefits, preserving open space, and recreational values!  The money collected from these permits will be used to purchase fish to stock the pond and to obtain augmentation water required by state water law.

To learn how to obtain an annual fishing permit, Park County residents can go to the Park County Fishing Permit Form, ECHPOA residents can go to the ECHPOA Membership Brochure.

To learn more about money needed to obtain augmentation water and why, go to the Save Our Pond History page under the Fishing Pond menu option above.  To learn more about why Park County annual fishing permits are now being offered, go to the November 1, 2017 meeting minutes page.  Note purchase price changes since that meeting.
