Building Report was given by Bryan.  The hallway and bathrooms will be painted by a person doing community service.  Other jobs at the corral will be added to his list.  Bryan will get the electrician to look at the outside spotlight and hang the track lighting in the kitchen.  The countertop still needs to be permanently attached.  Motion to accept the report was made by Paul and seconded by Karen.  The motion carried.

Corral Report was given by Bryan.  A fan was hung in the stalls to chase the flies.  A spray will be tried.  The 3 corral openings have been advertised.  We are looking into selling the old barn wood from the hay shed to a reclaimed wood dealer.  The hay shed is in very bad shape but we cannot take on a multi-year contract to replace it at this time.  Motion to accept the report was made by Karen and seconded by Greg.  The motion carried.

Pond Report was given by Al Cook.  The pond is doing very well.  Ken Perdew called to complain about 2 men fishing without fishing badges and parking in his driveway.  A lifesaving ring and buoy will be placed at the pond this weekend as stated in our new insurance policy.  Motion to accept the report was made by Ted and seconded by Karen.  The motion carried.

Old Business ECHPOA will not take a stand on the Board of Education recall petition.

New business Platte Canyon FD has completed a Firewise survey of our area.  The state has all that information.  Bryan would like to set up a board of directors to run the Firewise program.  Joe Burgett was able to walk several homes and express concerns on Saturday, July 30th.  IREA came out and trimmed trees by power lines near the building.  You can call Kevin (IREA) at 720-733-5751 if you have concerns with trees touching your lines.  You can also call Charlie at 303-748-1653 if you would like to pay someone to help with mitigation on your property.  EcoMetrics, LLC and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services came and spent 2 hours looking at our creek system on Tuesday, July 12th.  They will try to locate a beaver pair to relocate to the creek.
